Growing up in rural Montana fostered a curiosity and passion for wilderness, and time at Glacier National Park and papers across Montana distilled those interests into my career. Now my favorite pieces help connect the public with the science around them.

I am currently interning at Montana Public Radio and the Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation while attending graduate school. When not focusing on natural resource science and the policy it affects, I enjoy biking, horror stories and petting my flat-faced cat.
