My name is Jenny Gessaman and I grew up in rural Montana, a place that fostered my curiosity and passion for wilderness. I use those qualities, along with the skills I’ve gained as a reporter and a Glacier National Park tour guide, to connect the public with the science around them.

Now I’m a journalism graduate focused on natural resource science and the policy it affects. When not meeting deadlines, I enjoy biking, horror stories and petting my flat-faced cat Caramel Loaf.
